Installation instructions for the model SM 300 SmartMAP
What is SmartMAP?
SmartMAP SS-300 model replaces the valve, restrictor check Assembly used by most Turbo kits and of Honda/Acura "supercharger" and turn off the engine when the pressure above a (boost) Impetigo by the engine computer (ECU).
How does SmartMAP?
SmartMAP inline connector with absolute pressure sensor (map) of Impetigo stock OEM ECU and limits stretched applied map. Voltage value (clamp) preset limit, you cannot adjust.
Acura/Honda NSX sensor stock map has a range of output 0.5 V high vacuum to atmospheric pressure 2.7 V (wide open throttle for NSX normally aspirated). Turbo or "supercharger" is installed, you will increase the pressure above atmospheric, Impetigo map sensor voltage will rise above 2.7 V. On some stretch over 2.7 V, NSX ECU assumes that there is a problem with the sensor, turn off the engine, since under normal conditions (no Turbo/SC), the output will never map about 2.7 V. The model SM 300-275 SmartMAP prevents the ECU engine shutdown by limiting the power to map sensor ECU to 2.75 V-0/+ 0.15 V.
For vehicles of the Acura/Honda
SmartMAP model SM 300-275 was planned originally for Acura/Honda NSX. It should also work on the Acura/Honda car other map sensor with similar power as in Acura/Honda NSX.
