Ducati ST4s Guide
When the ignition key is turned on, turn off the engine immobilizer inhibitor. When the ignition key is turned back to start the engine, the following happens:
1) if the CPU introduced the code, the light in the tools Panel code will flash briefly. This means that the system has recognized the immobilizer code key ignition engine starts. When you press the Start button, the engine starts.
2) if the light remains in code, this means that the code not recognised. When this is the case, turn the ignition key is enabled, and then click back again. If the engine still does not start, try with another black key. If other key does not work either, please contact the Ducati service network.
Warning
Keys contain electronic components inside. If dropped or hit, they may cause damage. Duplicate keys if you need any duplicate keys, contact your network service with all the keys were left Ducati to you your
Card code.
Ducati service program new keys, re-program the original keys, up to 8 total keys. You may be asked to identify yourself as a legitimate owner of the motorcycle. Be sure there are any documents that may be ready to end. Key codes will be sent from to create these keys in case they lost unserviceable.
Note
If you sell your motorcycle, don't forget to give each new owner ID card keys.
